Contractor Software QA/QC Tester

We are seeking a software tester to enhance the quality and reliability of our health tech solutions. You'll collaborate with engineers and quality management, gaining hands-on QA experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Execute black box and white box testing to identify bugs.
• Participate in developing and implementing QA tests and procedures to ensure product excellence.
• Collaborate with the software development team to document bugs and inconsistencies, ensuring quality standards.
• Assist in designing and executing test plans and cases to improve functionality and user experience.
• Work with QC to assess software performance, contributing to the software release workflow improvement.
• Take on various tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Knowledge and experience in software testing, testing frameworks, QA methodologies, and tools.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Understanding of clean architecture principles and clean, maintainable code.
• Ability to identify errors in complex systems and provide solutions.
• Strong teamwork and independent work skills.
• Organized and able to multitask, prioritize, and manage deadlines.

Nice to Haves

• Familiarity with JIRA.
• Knowledge of test design concepts and methodologies (e.g., TDD).
• Familiarity with UI test frameworks (e.g., Appium, Selenium).
• Familiarity with unit test frameworks (e.g., NUnit, Jest, Pytest).
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration.
• Prior QA experience.

Work Schedule

Vancouver-based role, requiring online availability from 8 PM-10 PM EET (10 AM-12 PM PST) daily.

Salary

USD 2500/month
