Contractor Sourcing & Tax Applications Specialist

Job Summary:

The Sourcing & Tax Applications Specialist supports Corporate Business applications, serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Tax, Sourcing, Shared Services, Travel & Expense, and Real Estate applications. Responsibilities include process support, implementing improvements, ensuring appropriate controls, and integrating data for decision-makers.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a subject matter expert for Tax, Sourcing, Travel, Expense, and Real Estate applications.
• Assist with the design and implementation of system enhancements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and technology staff.
• Serve as liaison between technical and functional stakeholders and project management teams.
• Define project scope, strategy, deliverable priorities, and recommend solutions.
• Define detailed requirements, analyze business needs, and validate solutions.
• Coordinate project activities, prepare agendas, document meeting outcomes.
• Establish, administer, and maintain project and knowledge management processes and tools.
• Ensure applications comply with IT policies.
• Evaluate SOC reports to ensure vendor and application compliance and surface risks.

Skills Required:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Tax, Sourcing, Shared Services, Travel, Expense, or Real Estate applications.
• Experience with application configuration, design, and interfaces.
• Experience working with third-party vendors to implement SaaS solutions.
• Working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and project management methodologies.
• Financial & Business acumen.
• Strong PC skills, including MS Office Products (Excel and Project).
• Excellent organization, verbal, and written communication skills.

Desired:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of technology project support experience.
• Experience with Tax applications (Corptax, Thomson Reuiters OneSource, Vertex, Aviation Tax).
• Experience with Sourcing and Travel & Expense (Concur, Egencia, CoStar Real Estate Manager).
• Understanding of Single Sign-On and Identity Management solutions.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Intermediate SQL query skills.
• Experience working in large enterprises with domestic and international locations.
