Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Western Digital is seeking an intern to join the Information Technology team. As a Digital Employee Experience intern at Western Digital, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust, scalable, and high-performance solutions. You will work closely with our team of experienced developers, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
An intern in this group can expect to work on and gain experience in the following areas:
- Develop and implement AI-driven chatbot solutions using Azure, MS Power Virtual Agents/Apps, Python, and other relevant technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into functional chatbot and automation solutions.
- Develop and optimize workflows using Moveworks tools, including Copilot, Creator Studio, and Agentic AI & Automation Engine.
- Leverage Glean’s Search, Assistant, and Apps to integrate intelligent search and assistant capabilities into enterprise workflows.
Required:
- Long-term interest in a career in IT Compliance, Audit, or Risk Management, with current participation in an IT, Information Systems, or related university curriculum.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn new compliance and IT governance tools.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with frameworks such as COBIT, NIST, or ISO 27001 is a plus.
