Contractor Sr Backend Engineer

We need an English-fluent Sr Backend Engineer, based in Latin America, available to work remotely.

We are looking for someone with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, who embraces changes while maintaining strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable backend systems.
• Build and optimize microservices for high-performance applications.
• Collaborate with blockchain developers to integrate backend services with blockchain platforms.
• Work with cross-functional teams to design robust system architectures and deployment pipelines.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Monitor and enhance system performance, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Manage deployment pipelines and infrastructure using Kubernetes and AWS.
• Analyze and resolve complex technical challenges across the backend stack.

Requirements:

• 3+ years in backend engineering roles.
• Proficiency in backend programming languages (GoLang preferred).
• Familiarity with Dapr, Cassandra, and SQL.
• Basic understanding of blockchain concepts and experience with blockchain integrations.
• Strong experience building and maintaining microservices-based architectures.
• Previous work experience with Kubernetes (K8s) clusters and AWS.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and embrace the challenge of rapidly evolving priorities.
• Comfortable with handling pressure and delivering quality results under tight deadlines.
• Approaches challenges with curiosity, creativity, and determination.
• Takes initiative and responsibility for delivering impactful outcomes.
• Collaborates effectively with diverse teams to drive success.

Compensation:

The Salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $4,500 - $4,800 per month, depending on seniority and skillset.

This position will start with a trial period of 3 months (full-time), depending on your performance will be extended as long-term contract.

This position is for an independent contractor, through a payroll platform.

The talent will work REMOTELY allocated at our client.
