Job Details
We are seeking a skilled BI Developer to support our Reporting initiative, focusing on delivering accurate, audit-ready reports via the Enterprise Reporting and Analytics (ERA) platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Looker dashboards and visualizations for HCA compliance reporting.
- Build and extend LookML models to support business needs and ensure data accuracy.
- Translate business and regulatory requirements into technical specifications and reporting logic.
- Perform source-to-target mapping and collaborate with data architects for model alignment.
- Query and validate data in Snowflake using SQL for Looker reports.
- Collaborate with data analysts, QA, and product owners to maintain reporting quality, accuracy, and usability.
- Ensure all reports meet audit, regulatory (e.g., HCA), and performance standards.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in BI/reporting development
- Strong Looker and LookML modeling proficiency
- Hands-on Snowflake or similar cloud-based data warehouse experience
- Solid SQL skills for querying, validation, and data transformation
- Experience with dimensional data modeling and scalable BI architecture best practices
Nice to Have:
- Experience with compliance or audit-related reports (e.g., healthcare, financial)
- Git experience for Looker project version control
- Familiarity with Agile tools like JIRA and Confluence
- Knowledge of the healthcare domain or HCA reporting standards
