Role: Senior Network Engineer
Locations: Conshohocken, PA; Florham Park, NJ; Garden City, NY, Manhattan, NY; Purchase, NY
Hybrid: Monday/Friday remote and Tue/Wed/Thurs on-site.
Certification: Active R&S CCNP required.

Role Summary: Provides ongoing day-to-day support for global data network, serving as Level 3 support for network-related tasks and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy LAN/WAN network infrastructure
- Troubleshoot LAN/WAN alerts and issues (Level 3)
- Maintain monitoring and reporting systems
- Document all systems developed/deployed
- Perform on-call duty (non-business hours) per shift assignments
- Handle administrative tasks (time entry, status reporting)
- Configure/install network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
- Maintain network systems and perform upgrades (service packs, patches, hot fixes, security configurations)
- Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability
- Monitor resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
- Adhere to configuration and change management policies
- Select/implement security tools, policies, and procedures with security team
- Liaise with vendors and IT personnel
- Provide 24x7 availability
- Conduct technical training for internal resources
Technical Qualifications:
- Strong network troubleshooting skills
- Quick issue identification and resolution
- Excellent customer interaction, requirement understanding, and communication with offshore team
- Team participation in change and incident management meetings
- Preferred SD-WAN experience: Silver Peak
- Preferred Next-Gen Firewall experience: Cisco Firepower
- Experience troubleshooting routing loops, asymmetric routing, & STP loop issues
- Implementation of operational changes and project coordination
- Cisco ASA, IPS configuration/troubleshooting
- Cisco ISE configuration/troubleshooting
- Cisco WLC wireless configuration/troubleshooting (preferred)
- Routing protocol configuration/troubleshooting (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP)
- LAN switching configuration/troubleshooting (VLAN, VTP, STP, EtherChannel)
- Quality of service configuration/troubleshooting
- TCP/IP protocol suite configuration/troubleshooting
- Application protocol configuration/troubleshooting (HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SMTP, SNMP, SSL, etc.)
- Network security configuration/troubleshooting (IPsec/SSL VPN/Cisco AnyConnect, AAA architecture, TACACS+, RADIUS, 802.1x)
- Cisco Catalyst & Nexus 9K/7K series switch configuration/troubleshooting
- Cisco IOS, NX-OS software configuration/troubleshooting
- Application load balancer configuration/troubleshooting
- Preferred Firewall cloud services experience: Zscaler
- Experience with SAP, Citrix, Portal, etc.
- Analyze tool outputs and make recommendations (e.g., high CPU utilization)
- Preferred Cloud experience: AWS, GCP, Azure
Education Requirements:
- CCNP Certification required
- BA/BS Degree required
