Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated Payroll Specialist to manage and process payroll transactions for both U.S. and U.K. operations. This role involves handling state and local tax registrations, coordinating with auditors, and managing compliance testing.

You will also be responsible for ensuring timely filing of reports and implementing new payroll systems and schemes.

  • Process and manage payroll transactions.
  • Handle state and local tax registrations.
  • Coordinate and respond to audit requests.
  • Manage 401(k) annual compliance testing and employer true-up matching.
  • Prepare wage reports and ensure timely filing of the 401(k) Form 5500.
  • Audit and validate quarterly equity and payroll data.
  • Set up new earning/deduction codes as needed.
  • Implement a new pension scheme, transitioning from relief-at-source to salary sacrifice.
  • Manage equity-related payroll reporting, ensuring compliance with employment-related securities reporting.
  • Complete and submit Form P11D for benefit reporting.

Essential Skills

  • 2 – 5 years’ experience processing multi-state payroll.
  • MUST come from a publicly traded company
  • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance.
  • Experience with 401(k) administration and pension schemes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and maintain accuracy in payroll reporting.
  • Extensive full-cycle payroll experience with multi-state operations
  • Strong analytical and audit skills.
