Contractor Staff Software Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Software Test Engineer to lead testing practices and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Recommend improvements to testing processes, technology, and interfaces.
• Lead quality-related work, including training and mentoring.
• Evaluate acceptance criteria, and execute manual and automated tests.
• Own the test automation strategy, test data management strategy, and test automation.
• Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks.
• Write, debug, and execute code for API and UI automated testing.
• Define, implement, and manage best practices for automated testing.
• Establish processes to identify manual test cases for automation.
• Provide metrics on business process and code coverage of automated test suites.
• Present test results to stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in QA and test automation.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years coding in C#.
• 4+ years experience with Selenium.
• 1+ year experience with Load and performance testing (Jmeter, Blazemeter, etc).
• 2+ years building and executing load/performance tests.
• 2+ years AWS experience.
• Experience with Azure DevOps (preferred).
• Experience with AI (preferred).
• Advanced English fluency (B2, C1, or C2).
• Mandatory Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience with PySpark/Python, ETL, and data warehousing processes.
• Proven leadership experience.
• Advanced written and spoken English fluency (B2-C2).
• Located in Central or South America.

More Details:

• Contract type: Independent contractor.
• Location: 100% remote.
• Duration: Initially 6 months, with extension possibility.
• Working hours: Monday to Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST).
• Equipment: Contractors to provide their own laptop/PC.
• Start date: As soon as possible.
