Intern Summer Calibration Services Technician

Summer Internship Opportunity: June - August 2025

80% Travel Required: Greater Boston Area

Responsibilities:

• Field installation, calibration, and maintenance of continuous monitoring units.
• Adherence to health and safety protocols.
• Documentation of field activities.
• Commute to/from client sites.
• Safe defensive driving.
• CORI certification (Massachusetts).
• Excellent customer service.
• Field calibration of real-time indoor air quality sensors.
• Understanding and travel with system installation, calibration, and troubleshooting equipment and manuals.
• Inspecting and troubleshooting systems.
• Use of small hand tools for sensor repairs.
• Documentation of field activities before leaving sites and daily upload.
• Communicating unresolved issues promptly.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in science or technology.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent in science or technology.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred, science or technology).
• Experience in environmental or industrial hygiene laboratory (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficient English skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Basic math, reasoning, computer skills.
• Travel up to 80% locally (within 3 hours).
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs.
