Arthur Grand Technologies is seeking a skilled Systems Analyst II (Mainframe - Cobol) for a contract role.
- Location: Remote
- Duration: 6 months+
Responsibilities:
- Support Ancillary IT lines of business (dental, vision, CDH products).
- Ensure successful execution of production jobs.
- Resolve defects and enhance mainframe logic to prevent job failures.
- Work on claim file loading, CDH membership reconciliations, and corrections.
- Support project initiatives related to 2026 benefits and enrolment.
Required Skills:
- Strong mainframe (COBOL) skills
- Ability to test packages on the mainframe and promote packages using change management.
- SQL for database query, troubleshooting, and reporting.
- Experience with system development and project lifecycle processes
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- JAVA/Java batch.
- Server app: Java (REST/Spring Boot/Hibernate)
- Web app: Angular (nodejs / typescript)
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or 10+ years’ experience.
