Contractor Tableau Analyst / Developer with BOE

Arthur Grand Technologies is seeking a highly motivated Tableau Analyst/Developer for a long-term contract role.

Position: Tableau Analyst/Developer with BOE (Remote)

Job Description

1. Dashboard Design & Development: Design, modify, and publish advanced Tableau dashboards and visualizations using Tableau Desktop and Server. Incorporate Business Objects Enterprise (BOE) reporting tools.

• BOE Expertise: Utilize Business Objects Enterprise (BOE) to enhance reporting, integrate data, and ensure seamless data delivery.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and resolve performance issues in Tableau and BOE dashboards/reports.
• User Collaboration & Support: Gather user requirements, provide training, and resolve issues for Tableau and BOE tools.
• Documentation & Testing: Document requirements, validate functionality, and ensure data accuracy.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 8+ years designing Tableau solutions with Tableau Desktop/Server; 5+ years with Business Objects Enterprise (BOE); 3+ years presenting insights to diverse audiences.

• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Tableau best practices, advanced features, and BOE reporting tools. Strong understanding of data warehousing techniques, dimensional models, and aggregation. Hands-on experience with SQL, Greenplum, Postgres, SQL Server, or Oracle.

• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Tableau Prep for data cleansing/transformation
• Knowledge of other BI tools (Power BI, SAS, R, Python)
• Experience in requirement elicitation, validation, and user acceptance testing
• Adaptability to changing priorities
