About This RoleWe're looking for a highly skilled Tableau Contractor who can turn spec sheets, wireframes, and SQL queries into beautiful, functional dashboards—fast. As our Tableau Contractor, your work will help drive data-backed decision-making across the company. You’ll own the process end-to-end—from interpretation of requirements to production-ready dashboards—and collaborate closely with team members for same-day fixes and rapid iterations.

We’re looking for someone who combines technical know-how with clean design sensibility, and can work independently while staying aligned with branding and coding best practices.

Role & Responsibilities

• Translate spec sheets, BigQuery SQL queries, and wireframes into interactive Tableau dashboards
• Deliver functional dashboards within 1–2 day turnaround, including same-day iterations as needed
• Ensure data accuracy and validate your own work prior to publishing
• Implement corporate branding, design best practices, and maintain consistency across dashboards
• Iterate quickly based on internal feedback and shifting requirements
• Communicate effectively with internal teams to understand data goals and context

Qualifications & Experience

• Portfolio showcasing clean, dynamic Tableau dashboards
• Expertise with Tableau features like calculated fields, parameters, table calcs, hierarchies, local/global filters, and tiled layouts
• Deep understanding of design principles, including maximizing data-to-ink ratio
• Expert-level BigQuery SQL proficiency
• Must have at least 4–6 hours overlap with 9AM–3PM Pacific Time. This role will start at 30 hours per week.
• Must be both a people and dog lover!
