About The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Lead Developer to oversee the design, development, and delivery of Policy Administration Systems (PAS) and related insurance technology initiatives. • Configure and extend PAS platforms (e.g., Origami, Duck Creek, Guidewire) to meet evolving business needs.
  • Manage teams of developers, analysts, and technical resources across multiple platforms.
  • Oversee the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring timely delivery, code quality, and architectural integrity.
  • Provide hands-on technical guidance in JavaScript, SQL, JSON, and other core technologies as needed.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate insurance domain requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.

  • Evaluate emerging technologies and no/low code platforms to streamline development and accelerate delivery.
  • Partner with product owners, business analysts, QA teams, and external vendors to align technical execution with business objectives.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure adherence to Agile, Scrum, or SAFe methodologies.
  • Enforce coding standards, design patterns, and development best practices across teams.
  • Conduct code reviews, performance assessments, and provide technical mentorship.
  • Perform root cause analysis on system issues and implement durable, scalable fixes.
  • Continuously optimize system performance, reliability, and user experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, SQL, modern front-end frameworks, and modern programming languages, with strong architectural and design capabilities.
  • Strong expertise in RESTful APIs, Webhooks, and JSON-based data exchange.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
  • Proficient in CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.
  • Expert-level understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Policy Administration Systems (PAS) such as Origami, Duck Creek, or Guidewire.
