The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance systems, hands-on technical skills, and a proven ability to drive complex projects from concept to execution.
What You'll Do

- Configure and extend PAS platforms (e.g., Origami, Duck Creek, Guidewire) to meet evolving business needs.
- Manage teams of developers, analysts, and technical resources across multiple platforms.
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring timely delivery, code quality, and architectural integrity.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance in JavaScript, SQL, JSON, and other core technologies as needed.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate insurance domain requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
- Contribute to enterprise technology strategy, modernization efforts, and platform scalability initiatives.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and no/low code platforms to streamline development and accelerate delivery.
- Partner with product owners, business analysts, QA teams, and external vendors to align technical execution with business objectives.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure adherence to Agile, Scrum, or SAFe methodologies.
- Enforce coding standards, design patterns, and development best practices across teams.
- Conduct code reviews, performance assessments, and provide technical mentorship.
- Perform root cause analysis on system issues and implement durable, scalable fixes.
- Continuously optimize system performance, reliability, and user experience.
Required Qualifications

- Strong expertise in RESTful APIs, Webhooks, and JSON-based data exchange.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Proficient in CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.
- Expert-level understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Hands-on experience with Policy Administration Systems (PAS) such as Origami, Duck Creek, or Guidewire.
- 10+ years of experience in full-stack software development, with 5+ years in leadership, mentoring, or technical management role.
- 5+ years of domain experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance.
