This position plays a critical role in driving the successful integration of technology platforms and processes following a major organisational merger. The role holder will ensure seamless interoperability between legacy and new platforms, mitigate risks associated with data migration and system consolidation, and embed robust governance and change control practices. Collaboration with delivery, commercial, finance, and technical teams will be essential to maintain alignment with scope, schedule, and budget baselines while enabling business continuity and operational efficiency throughout the integration lifecycle.
As a Technology Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for seamlessly incorporating technology solutions into existing systems, focusing on enhancing overall efficiency and functionalities. The role requires a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills, deep understanding of both existing and emerging technologies, project management expertise and the ability to adapt to evolving technological landscapes. It’s a part-time position and will be based anywhere in Europe.
Key Responsibilities
As a Technology Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for seamlessly incorporating technology solutions into existing systems, focusing on enhancing overall efficiency and functionalities. The role requires a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills, deep understanding of both existing and emerging technologies, project management expertise and the ability to adapt to evolving technological landscapes. It’s a part-time position and will be based anywhere in Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- System analysis: Assess existing technology infrastructure to identify integration opportunities and challenges.
- Technology planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop strategic plans for integrating new technologies into projects. Act as a trusted advisor for integration-related decisions, recommending optimal approaches and technologies.
- Solution design: Create comprehensive integration plans, ensuring compatibility, interoperability, and optimal performance across the various systems.
- Implementation oversight: Lead the implementation of technology solutions, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.
- Testing and quality assurance: Conduct thorough testing to validate the effectiveness and reliability of integrated systems.
- Trouble shooting and support: Provide ongoing support to address any issues or challenges that may arise post-implementation.
- Security compliance: Ensure that the integrated systems meet established security standards and regulations.
- Continuous improvement: Stay abreast of technological advancements and recommend improvements to enhance infrastructure efficiency. Monitor integration performance and troubleshoot issues proactively. Identify opportunities for process automation and system enhancements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Digital & Technology team, project managers, and relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless integration across the project’s lifecycle.
- Project reporting: Lead the integration of data to the data warehouse, and subsequent reporting tools, to provide regular updates and reports on progress to stakeholders and management.
- 5+ years’ experience in the implementation of enabling technologies in architecture, engineering, and construction projects across the entire project lifecycle.
- Strong project management skills to plan, execute, and oversee technology integration projects.
- Experience in solution building and advisory roles within complex environments.
- Microsoft Office skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to design and implement integration architectures that meet business and technical requirements.
- Proven experience in system integration across multiple platforms and organizations.
