As a Territory Manager for our Therma-Tru brand, you’ll grow top-line sales within the Manitoba, Atlantic Maritimes, and Ontario territory. Cultivate relationships with key and prospective distributor accounts to drive future sales growth. Act as the company’s primary contact by maintaining relationships with key executives, purchasing/estimating, construction/operations, sales, architecture, design, and finance personnel within customers' organizations.
Ideal candidate has experience selling doors and building materials, is highly autonomous, and able to travel overnight approximately 4-6 nights a month. Background in growing and maintaining relationships via high-touch communication and knowledge sharing is essential. This remote position is based in the Toronto, ON area.
Salary range: $98,000 CAD - $146,000 CAD with bonus opportunity based on territory performance.
Your Role:
- Develop business plan and targets for market and channel growth in assigned territory.
- Own existing customer relationships; cultivate new relationships with key distributors, dealers, and builders.
- Escalate issues from customer accounts to Segment Managers/Specialists.
- Collaborate with RM’s on pricing consistent with market dynamics.
- Collaborate with RM’s, R&D, Engineering, and QC on new products, competitors, field and quality issues.
- Train customers on TT products and value-added services.
- Implement marketing, merchandising, and promotional programs and materials.
- Resolve service issues in partnership with Customer Service.
- Handle all administrative tasks (reports, opportunities, expenses) timely.
- Maintain current customer and prospect database.
- Attend trade shows as necessary.

Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 5-7 years direct sales experience in building products
- Experience calling on distributors, dealers, builders, and/or contractors
- Excellent communication skills (written, one-on-one, presentations)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and CRM
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field
- Experience with multi-step distribution channel
- Experience with sales forecasting
