US Reporter Intern will cover political debates on domestic US topics and the Modern Treatise.
Responsibilities Include:
- Weekly: In-depth political reporting covering:
- Courts: Local/State Supreme Court cases, appeals, and US Supreme Court cases.
- Election Coverage: Occasional, unbiased coverage of domestic elections.
- Federal: Congressional and White House matters related to policy and governing.
- Local, State & Territory: Feature articles focusing on local, state, and territorial politics.
- National Security: Coverage of America's national defense (border control, foreign engagements, global military alliances). Various articles will highlight perspectives.
Skills Required:
- Understanding of political philosophies, not just talking points.
- Ability to analyze political subject matters from multiple perspectives.
- Emphasis on fact-based evidence, not wish-thinking.
- Neutral reporting, not commentary.
