Contractor UX Designer

Key Responsibilities:

User Research & Analysis:

• Conduct user research, interviews, surveys, and usability studies to understand user needs and behaviors.
• Analyze user feedback and usage data to inform design decisions.
• UX Design & Prototyping:
• Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Ensure designs align with the overall product vision and meet accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to refine designs and ensure feasibility.
• Present and communicate design ideas clearly to team members and stakeholders.
• Testing & Iteration:
• Conduct usability testing to gather feedback and refine designs based on user needs.
• Iterate on designs to enhance the user experience continually.
• Design Systems:
• Contribute to and maintain design systems and libraries to ensure consistency across products.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field. (Equivalent experience considered.)
• Experience:
• 12+ years of experience in UX design, preferably in the tech industry.
• Proven experience with responsive and adaptive design for web and mobile.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Familiarity with prototyping tools (e.g., InVision, Axure).
• Understanding of front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience working with tools like Jira or Trello for task management.
