Roles & Responsibilities
Designing, deploying, and optimizing Versa SD-WAN solutions.
Providing technical leadership and collaborating with customers and stakeholders for successful implementations.
Analyzing, designing, and developing technical solutions for customer and internal issues.
Helping L3 support and customers solve product and network problems.
Replicating customer issues in a lab environment.
Coordinating with OEMs to replicate customer issues and test possible fixes.
Performing hands-on tests to validate customer proof-of-concept setups, network designs, and network deployments using new products and features.
Developing, defining, and creating best practices for Network infrastructure and SD-WAN design.
Setting up infrastructure.
Creating knowledge articles.
Writing bash/python scripts.
Validating hot fixes and providing recommendations to operations team.
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of Versa SD-WAN architecture, components, and functionality.
Configuring and provisioning Versa SD-WAN devices and services.
Versa Concerto Orchestration
Proficiency in using Concerto's lifecycle stages for configuring, deploying, monitoring, and managing SD-WAN deployments.
Understanding Concerto's hierarchical configuration structure (master profiles, subprofiles, policies, and rules).
Creating, configuring, and managing SD-WAN tenants within Concerto.
Familiarity with Concerto's API for automation and integration.
Effectively managing and deploying Versa's Secure SD-WAN solutions using Versa Concerto.
Managing device configurations, software upgrades, and administrative tasks.
Using tools for SD-WAN management, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Identifying and resolving SD-WAN performance issues using Versa Director and Versa Analytics.
Hands-on Experience
IP Networking, Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, L3VPN, DHCP, DNS, NAT, BFD, Application-aware Routing & QoS), switching (VLAN, Trunking, Dot1x, various STP flavors, VxLAN).
TCP/IP protocol suite.
IPSec VPN/SSL-VPN/NAT/GRE.
Analyzing traffic and packet flows using packet analyzers (Wireshark, tcpdump).
Understanding security logs, vulnerabilities, CVEs, threat maps.
Linux/Unix environment.
Virtualization, SaaS, IaaS, and related technologies.
Managing, supporting, and deploying network infrastructures.
Diagnosing complex server or network issues.
Basic hardware and system-level troubleshooting.
Experience with Hybrid Cloud network deployments (AWS, OpenStack, GCP) - plus.
