About the Role:
The Video Editor delivers impact to all the stages of our buyer journey, and the related sales processes, creating product-based and value-based reasoning in pre-recorded video demos to support the challenges faced by our buyers.
We’re looking for an experienced, resourceful Video Editor to help cross-functional teams use video to educate buyers and communicate complex ideas quickly with a clear and compelling story. As a video editor, your work will focus on post-production and collaborating with Subject Matter Experts across the business to unlock their knowledge, and deliver impactful content. You will ensure the content meets quality standards, aligns with current best practices for the platform, and is maintained in the system. You’ll work with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Sales and Customer Success) collaborating to ensure the delivery of concise, empathetic customer-centric narratives.
What You'll Do:
- Deliver high impact, automated video demos at scale, of Consensus’ products and services which bring to life the presales/sales/buyer enablement benefits of the proposed solution aligned to the buyer’s journey and specific needs and issues
- Partner with the content creators (either internal or from SMEs) to edit raw files, manage source files, and keep files up-to-date in the video platform
- Establish and maintain multiple projects as well as provide timely stakeholder engagement and management
- Drive consistency and brand alignment across our video platform
- Develop scalable and templated assets
- Understands the importance of all projects, big or small, in order to continue building up their design abilities
- Looks for ways to help the larger team by documenting items they learn
- Support Net New and Expansion mid-market and enterprise Sales teams in the production of high-quality reactive and proactive supporting assets which articulate the benefits of Consensus' proposed solutions.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum three years’ experience editing video content for software vendors, creative agencies and/or production companies
- A high degree of professional competence in Camtasia, Premier Pro, or similar
- A high degree of professional competence in post-production workflow management – audio visual management and output mastering
- Project management – adhering to set timelines and meeting all deadlines, addressing internal and client feedback through to final approval
- Edit suite management – post workflow, filing, hard drive archiving
- An excellent understanding of video production equipment, techniques and formatsVisualize complex concepts and data. Use imagery, illustration, animation, typography, etc., to help customers envision and understand the value of an idea
- Rapidly iterate within a culture of Total Ownership - simple but exemplary. Seek and accept feedback from teams often and adjust accordingly. Pivot quickly or start over if necessary
- Be resourceful. Create assets when appropriate, leverage existing assets when necessary. The inputs and outputs will vary from project to project, so your style and workflow will need to be flexible.
