Contractor Video Editor & Storyteller

• Job Role: Video Editor & Storyteller for Senior Audiences
• Compensation range: $500–$800/Monthly
• Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement
• Work Schedule: Approximately 15–20 hours per week, Monday to Friday during AEST business hours.

A digital platform seeks a Video Editor & Storyteller to create engaging content for older adults. The role requires creativity, patience, empathy, and a strong sense of storytelling. Focus on clarity, warmth, and familiarity, fostering connection and joy for seniors.

• Use high-contrast visuals and legible fonts.
• Create friendly, conversational voiceovers (Australian accent support preferred).
• Develop content that sparks memory, joy, and connection.
• Create a variety of video content tailored for seniors, including guessing games, nostalgia-driven visuals, sing-alongs, trivia, and simple explainer videos.
• Collaborate with the team for feedback and improvements.
• Conduct research to develop engaging, senior-friendly content.

• Knowledge and experience with Video AI platforms.
• Proficiency with Adobe Suite, Canva, and other video creation tools.
• Experience in avatar/character creation.
• Skilled in voiceover functionality, ideally with age-appropriate tones and Australian accent support.
• Familiarity with inclusive design features.
• Superior attention to detail with excellent communication skills.
• Strong research ability and empathy toward seniors.

This is a remote, independent contractor role requiring availability during core AEST business hours. Successful candidates will disclose existing roles and reflect this engagement on their LinkedIn profile. Must have a suitable home office setup.
