Job Details
Video Production Volunteer will assist with the production of short-form media and an educational series.
Responsibilities:
- Shooting, sound, and editing of video productions.
- Stitching together individual MP4s for longer content.
- Creating visually engaging assets (graphic arts skills a plus).
- Meeting deadlines and providing content calendar ideas.
- Executing video productions and sending them to the Video Production Team Lead.
- Understanding target audiences and developing engagement strategies.
- Communicating effectively with other team members (Slack, email, Zoom).
Requirements:
- Commitment to at least the end of the Summer semester (August 31st, 2025).
- Proficient in video editing software.
- Understanding of basic file management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (English).
- Ability to work remotely and independently.
- Experience with Google Workspace preferred.
- Knowledge of shooting, sound quality, and editing preferred.
- Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours weekly.
- Ability to attend weekly organization-wide and Video Production Team meetings.
- Authorization to intern in the U.S.
