Virtual Server Administrator
Responsibilities
- Server Management & Maintenance: Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve virtual server outages/issues to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
- Infrastructure Reliability: Perform routine server maintenance, updates, and security patches to maintain a stable environment.
- Domain & DNS Management: Fully own and manage all tasks related to domain name management and DNS configurations.
- Application & Software Installation: Install, configure, and optimize web servers, portals, and associated software products to support the company's hosting needs.
- Security & Performance Optimization: Implement best practices to enhance system security, prevent cyber threats, and optimize server performance.
- Collaboration & Support: Work closely with the Web Development team to provide server-side solutions and technical support when needed.
Requirements
- Strong experience in Linux Server Administration and managing virtualized environments.
- Expertise in WordPress Hosting & Management, ensuring seamless performance and security.
- Proficiency in PHP & MySQL Database Management for web applications.
- Hands-on experience with Plesk Control Panel and cloud hosting environments.
- Knowledge of server security protocols, firewalls, and performance optimization techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex server-related issues and implement effective solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, time management, and ability to prioritize tasks.
