Omnia Creative, a fast-paced web development and SEO company in Southern New Jersey, seeks a talented Web Designer. We specialize in web solutions for small to mid-sized businesses nationwide. We prioritize long-term client relationships and business growth.
We're looking for a talented Web Designer to craft unique user experiences. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for clean, artful design and user interface skills. Responsibilities include:
- Executing visual design from concept to hand-off to development.
- Conceptualizing original website designs that enhance user experience.
- Creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and sitemaps.
- Presenting and defending designs to peers and stakeholders.
- Establishing and promoting design guidelines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a web designer (1-2 years)
- Strong portfolio of previous or current projects
- Understanding of Responsive Web Design and Mobile Optimization
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar design tools
- Strong visual design skills and user-system interaction awareness
- Creative problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of current web trends and techniques
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication (written and verbal)
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and creative
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong technical and design skills
- Basic coding experience (CSS, SVG, Javascript/jQuery/GSAP preferred)
This is a 3-month contract-to-hire position. Starting salary based on experience. Benefits after 90 days include: paid sick leave, PTO, health benefits.
