Full-Time WEBTOON 2D Animator

WEBTOON Entertainment is a leading global entertainment company. We are looking for an exceptional 2D Animator and Content Creator to join our growing creative team.

This role requires rapid creative ideation in a fast-paced, international environment. You'll work closely with the Marketing, Advertising, and Content Publishing teams.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with copywriters, visual designers, and art directors to create animated content.
• Develop and execute animated video content that resonates with our Gen-Z and Millennial audience across multiple social channels.
• Elevate WEBTOON characters and series with breakthrough animation.
• Work efficiently, maintaining high animation quality while adapting to the fast pace of social media.
• Understand digital and social products and placements and make channel-specific creative content.
• Stay updated on industry trends and WEBTOON fan culture.
• Work with the Project Manager to meet deliverables and deadlines within budget.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of professional experience in animation production.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of projects, including animated content for social media.
• Illustration and drawing skills for storyboards, concept art, and illustrations.
• Self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively.
• Action-oriented and adaptable to changes in priorities.
• Proven record of bringing ideas to life in animation.
• Effective communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Must include a portfolio of professional 2D animation work.

Nice to Have:

• Proficiency in After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, or other professional VFX/animation software.
• Experience in animation software like Clip Studio, Procreate Dreams, or character rigging software.
• Passion for comics, gaming, WEBTOON, or entertainment media.
