Join our dynamic team virtually, as a Workforce & Community Development Intern for Summer 2025 and beyond! This unpaid internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in workforce development and community engagement initiatives.
Assist in researching and analyzing local workforce trends and community needs.
Support the development and implementation of workforce training programs.
Collaborate with team members on community outreach and engagement projects.
Help organize and coordinate community events and workshops.
Contribute to the creation of marketing materials for workforce development initiatives.
Assist in data collection and report preparation for various projects.
Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
Support social media efforts to promote workforce and community development programs.
Conduct literature reviews on best practices in workforce development and community engagement.
Assist in grant writing and funding research for community development projects.
Help develop and maintain partnerships with local businesses and organizations.
Support the creation and maintenance of databases for tracking program participants and outcomes.
Assist in developing evaluation tools to measure the impact of workforce development programs.
Contribute to the development of training materials and resources for program participants.
Help coordinate virtual networking events for job seekers and employers.
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Social Sciences, Community Development, or a related field.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent research and analytical abilities
Basic project management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with social media management is a plus
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Enthusiasm for workforce development and community engagement.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
