Job Details
Account Supervisor role supports the MedComm group, responsible for managing medical communications projects from start to finish.
- Projects include scientific content development, conference engagements, data visualization, healthcare provider key opinion leader (KOL) engagement, speaker program development and training, advisory boards, virtual and live events, and omnichannel educational initiatives.
- Manage tactical execution of integrated medical communications plans, understanding agency/client relationships.
- Develop and incorporate strategic planning and cross-functional collaboration.
- Work with Project Management, Medical, Strategy, Creative, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
- Apply data and insights to produce solid project plans, manage client/agency partnerships.
- Contribute to tactical plans and provide day-to-day support on broader strategic efforts.
- Identify and meet client needs, align internal processes for successful project initiation, management, and execution.
- Lead client presentations, facilitate internal project meetings, and participate in cross-functional teams.
- Develop detailed campaign and project plans, act as project owner for finished product/service.
- Manage and deliver status updates and financial forecasting (budget, goals, objectives).
- Manage projects with strict deadlines and deliverable drop-dead dates.
- Manage project teams, plan program logistics (venue, contracts, travel, food, AV, etc.).
- Customize and distribute template documents.
- Reconcile final invoices with EIT Meeting Services Team.
- Demonstrate ownership and accountability for EIT agency procedures.
- Maintain billable utilization percentages.
- Train junior team members.
Requirements:
- 5-8 years related experience (client services, advertising/marketing agency, pharmaceutical marketing).
- Medical communications experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Strong marketing/advertising experience, expertise in digital strategy, media, and technology.
- Meeting planning/services, event management, and congress experience preferred.
- Approve copy, scope, and deliverables for high-quality control.
- Manage multiple high-priority projects with competing deadlines.
- Work independently and in a team structure.
- Strong client relations and customer satisfaction.
- Proven ability to manage projects collaboratively.
- Negotiation skills.
- Intercept changes from partners and triage appropriately.
- Medical communications experience with speaker bureau content (presentations, videos, banners, emails).
- Strategic skill, business acumen, analytical skills.
- Understanding of web development technologies and processes.
- Supervise and develop Account Administrator/Manager teams.
- Oversee multiple projects and accounts.
- Problem-solving skills, presentation and communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills, professionalism, conflict resolution.
- Periodic travel required.
Compensation: $76,000 - $113,000 (US only), based on experience and location.
