Contractor Adjunct Assistant Professor - Nutrition

We are looking for an Online General Education Instructor to join our team.

This position will instruct general education courses in the ASVN, BSN, and RN to BSN degree completion programs.

Courses Taught:

• Anatomy & Physiology
• English
• Intermediate Algebra
• Psychology
• Public Speaking
• Sociology
• Managerial Statistics
• Lifespan Development
• History
• General Chemistry & Organic Biologic Chemistry
• Nutrition
• Ethics
• Political Science
• Critical Reasoning

Responsibilities:

• Instruct students and develop coursework for assigned classes.
• Improve instruction quality by reviewing and utilizing innovative teaching methodologies/techniques.
• Assist with syllabus and instructional guideline review/revision.
• Evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback.
• Participate in strategic planning and assessment of instructional initiatives.
• Maintain student records (attendance, grades).
• Assist with program data collection.
• Use LMS to deliver course content effectively and maintain currency.
• Provide ongoing student communication via office hours, electronic communication, etc.
• Participate in professional development, maintain CE hours, and stay current with college updates.
• Demonstrate commitment to teaching and working with a diverse student body.
• Participate in Quarterly Online Faculty meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree required; Doctoral Degree preferred
• Experience: demonstrated ability to mentor students, strong communication skills (written & verbal).
• Previous online teaching experience required using an LMS.
• Documented background in educational methodology consistent with teaching assignments.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
