Contractor Adjunct Assistant Professor - Nutrition/Dietician

We are seeking an Online General Education Instructor for our team.

This position will involve teaching general education courses in ASVN, BSN, and RN to BSN programs.

• General Chemistry & Organic Biologic Chemistry
• Nutrition
• Ethics
• Political Science
• Critical Reasoning

Instructor Duties:

• Teach assigned classes
• Develop course materials
• Enhance instruction by implementing innovative techniques and reviewing syllabi and guidelines
• Evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback
• Participate in instructional initiatives and program assessments
• Maintain student records (attendance, grades, etc.) and assist with data collection
• Use LMS to deliver course content
• Communicate with students via scheduled office hours and electronic means
• Participate in professional development and maintain licensure, if applicable
• Participate in quarterly online faculty meetings

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree required; Doctoral Degree preferred
• Experience that demonstrates:
• Ability to mentor students
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Previous online teaching experience with LMS
• Documented background in educational methodology, including education theory and practice, subject-specific concepts, or clinical practice experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
