Full-Time AI Applications Engineer

AI Applications Engineer Role Summary:

Develop and deploy AI applications using Azure Machine Learning to address business challenges like:

• Extracting and structuring text data from product images
• Inferring product attributes
• Finding product matches using multimodal vector search
• Automating computer vision tasks

Design and validate AI workflows using various prompt engineering strategies, functional calling, and retrieval augmented generation. Build robust AI applications.

Integrate AI workflows into existing business processes via collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams to gather API specifications.

Continuously improve AI skills and technical stack by staying updated on advancements in LLMs, AI orchestration tools, prompt engineering, and best practices.

Document development processes to ensure reproducibility and compliance with best practices.

Collaborate with product leaders, managers, software developers, DevOps, and system architects to translate ideas into robust AI solutions.

Communicate complex AI concepts clearly and engagingly to non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong knowledge of Python and relevant Azure AI services (azure-ai-ml, openai, promptflow)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in relevant positions or study programs focusing on using LLMs for building AI applications
• Strong knowledge of writing clean and well-documented code
• Strong knowledge of version control systems
• Strong English and communication skills
• Experience collaborating with and presenting to internal and external stakeholders
