Requirements
Constructor is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to design and build our Agent Products. You will focus on developing sophisticated RAG pipelines and agentic workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and build real-time agentic workflows.
- Own the end-to-end data lifecycle for AI workflows.
- Design metrics to evaluate query result relevance.
- Prototype novel product hypotheses leveraging LLMs, RAG, and agentic systems.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Analytics, and Engineering teams.
- Improve the speed, quality, and efficiency of our AI systems.
- Take ownership of systems from conception through deployment and maintenance.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of industry experience in search, information retrieval, recommendation systems, applied machine learning, and NLP.
- Excellent skills in delivering and communicating business value.
- Proficient in Python, SQL, and big data stack.
- Strong grasp of Information Retrieval (IR) techniques.
- Direct experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG); experience building autonomous agents is a strong plus.
Nice to have:
- Experience with automatic prompt optimization techniques, such as DSPy.
- Solid understanding of ML evaluation methodologies and key information retrieval metrics.
- Passion for shipping high-quality products.

This position has a base salary range between $80k and $120k USD.
