Job Details
Responsible for translating internal client needs into a formal integration specification.
Integration expertise should be based on abstract principles, independent of any specific underlying technology.
Govern and maintain EDP's Global Integration Architecture, covering a wide range of types (APIs, Web Services, Events, ETL, Batch, Files, Data, etc.).
Design and develop technical architecture for integration solutions that meet client needs and objectives.
Maintain integration design documentation and technical specifications.
Define and document integration patterns and best practices.
Assist in the specification of integration test plans and scenarios.
Provide oversight in standards adherence through reviews of project work, including detailed technical specifications and application code.
- Be proactive, independent, and enthusiastic.
- Be results and delivery-driven, taking ownership and accountability for all work and responsibilities.
- Be critical, imaginative, and willing to challenge the "Status Quo."
Requirements:
- Up to 15 years of experience in the role
- Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Engineering or similar
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment and with global teams
- Capacity for critical analysis and focused on problem-solving
- Commitment to quality of deliverables
- Knowledge of the Energy & Utilities market and GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)
- Knowledge of Agile methodology, JIRA, and Confluence tools (valued/a plus)
- Experience in strategic projects
- English (mandatory), Portuguese (mandatory), Spanish (valued/a plus)
- Deep knowledge of the various types of integration platforms, as well as integration patterns, and new market trends
