Perform application administration activities: creating, modifying, and deleting users; optimizing remote access; and managing security access for messaging systems, databases, and web applications.
Coordinate with department leadership: plan, design, and schedule releases for software, hardware, and operating system updates. Develop and enhance processes and technical documentation, create backup procedures, test plans, and reports. Prioritize and respond to service requests; provide escalation support to helpdesk staff.
Provide expertise in SAP modules: for integrated data interchange for EAI and EDI developments based on webMethods.
Develop EAI/EDI Interfaces: Monitor and evaluate all in-place systems and applications; initiate repairs, updates, and changes necessary for optimal performance. Independently modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, or upgrade interfaces and improve performance (e.g., Windows servers, third-party systems, storage systems).
Consult with engineering staff and users: evaluate interface between hardware and software; develop and implement specifications and performance requirements; and resolve customer problems requiring specialized system aptitude.
Support and administer various applications software platforms: Document IT activities (e.g., downtime, problems, system configurations). May coordinate, manage, or build new computer systems for special purposes.
Stay current with technology: remain abreast of emerging technology and maintain technical competency of IT applications; keep updated on latest security trends and participate in regular security activities. Ensure operating systems are updated per company security policies and procedures (e.g., applying Microsoft patches, hardening operating systems).
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in an Information Systems role with a minimum 5 years of experience in XML & Webservice development (XML, XSL, DTD, XSLT, SOAP, WSDL, EDI).
WebMethods development and administration experience required (Integration server, UM/Broker, Trading Networks, JDBC/SAP adapters etc..); 10.x preferred.
Implement A2A and B2B solutions: implement web services and RESTful services (APIs). Experience with B2B standards (X12 EDI, Flat files) is a plus.
Security expertise: Experience with SFTP and PGP encryption; experience with Trading Networks and Partner onboarding process. Experience with WebMethods upgrade activities.
Technical documentation: Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation related to application interfaces.
Troubleshooting: Monitor EAI/EDI production systems and troubleshoot issues effectively.
Certification: Certified WebMethods Integration Professional preferred. Certification in Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) preferred.
