Full-Time Applied Sr Data Scientist - Fintech Foundation

This is a unique opportunity to join our growing Fintech Foundation team. We’re responsible for optimizing pricing for ancillary products, balancing customer demand with financial risks. We help product teams deliver new fintech products faster, respond to changing market conditions, run continuous testing on product construction levers, and maintain a growing portfolio of pricing models.

What would your day-to-day look like?

• Collaborating with cross-functional product teams to understand business requirements and product construction.
• Data engineering to create appropriate datasets for analysis and modeling.
• Implementing automated, reusable ML training pipelines.
• Creating and pushing models to production.
• Monitoring pricing models to identify weaknesses and opportunities.
• Running A/B tests on new data sources, improved algorithms, and product levers.
• Responding to ad-hoc requests to analyze historical performance and diagnose anomalies or impacts of external events.

Ideal candidate profile

• BSc or MSc in a quantitative field (math, physics, statistics, or economics).
• 2+ years experience applying data analysis and predictive modeling in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong coding skills with SQL and Python.
• Pragmatic approach, valuing business impact over statistical nuance.
