Full-Time AR Manager

AR Manager Responsibilities:

Under direction, processes claims, reviews correspondence, answers inquiries, and resolves issues.

Manages accounts receivable, analyzes aged receivables, identifies root causes, and creates rules to prevent errors.

Manages denials, investigates causes, resolves, and appeals them.

Independently decides on adjustments, resubmissions, appeals, and other claim resolutions.

Collaborates with internal teams and care center staff.

Supports care center go-lives, potentially involving overnight travel.

Works with the Revenue Optimization team to ensure reimbursement aligns with payer contracts.

Analyzes denials using Trizetto.

Works with practice consultants/physicians for optimal revenue cycle functionality.

Drives department KPI attainment through team focus.

Completes other duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements:

High School Graduate

3+ years in physician medical billing.

Software Proficiency:

• Athena EHR

Experience/Skills Preferred:

• Behavioral Health physician billing
• Experience in DC/ MD/ VA medical claims billing
• Understanding of revenue cycle optimal performance
• Advanced Microsoft Excel
• Compliance with HIPAA
• Excellent verbal/written communication
• Group presentation experience
• Time management, multi-tasking abilities
• Teamwork and mentoring skills
• Ability to work independently

Compensation:

Base salary range: $45,000 - $55,000

Annual bonus potential: 10%
