Brightspeed is seeking a driven, assertive, and energetic Technical Project Manager.
The Technical Project Manager will lead projects, from start to finish, coordinating team members, managing budgets, schedules, and procedures. They will gather and report on project status, risks, and dependencies.
This role reports to the Director of Operational Governance, supporting portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing comprehensive project and program updates to senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Developing executive-friendly status updates and presentations.
- Translating technical and operational information into strategic insights.
- Communicating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Collaborating with project managers to provide accurate and timely portfolio progress updates.
- Ensuring clear communication of project interdependencies.
- Leading project planning and execution with cross-functional teams.
- Facilitating the definition of project goals, tasks, and resource requirements.
- Assessing and updating business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Driving improvements in project delivery processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Telecom, Operations, Business, IT, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years managing cross-functional projects.
- 5+ years of executive support with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in analyzing metrics and creating executive-friendly reports.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with accurate documentation and reporting skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Smartsheet, JIRA, MS Project, and Confluence.
- Project planning and life cycle development experience.
- PMP, Six Sigma, or Project Management certification (preferred).
