Area Construction Manager will work with area property asset managers and the national RE team to optimize PLACE and align goals with corporate strategies.
Optimizing PLACE means enhancing customer experience, convenience, and relevance by optimizing the marketplace through new site development and the existing real estate portfolio, and improving system profits, regional income and return on investment.
Accountable for all construction-related activities within a general geographical area.
Key Customers: Restaurant customers, Regional Leadership, Development Team, O/O's, McOpCo, and Regional Staff.
Responsibilities:
- Site Development: Works with Real Estate Managers to prioritize development opportunities to ensure best use of capital.
- Helps create, lead, and implement the development plan to meet portfolio returns and goals.
- Ensures quality control standards for construction.
- Works with US Restaurant Design Group to ensure consistency and apply Gold Site Development Standards.
- Monitors and controls the construction process.
- Negotiates terms and conditions of construction agreements.
Reinvestment/Remodeling:
- Provides construction and design recommendations for reinvestment plans.
- Reinforces and supports reinvestment standards.
Miscellaneous:
- Supports the Property Manager, Asset Manager, and Real Estate Manager in resolving construction issues.
- Ensures resolution of physical plant and infrastructure issues.
- Provides consulting and maintains effective working relationships.
Skills:
- Strong Technical and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Civil Engineering
Travel: Over 30%.
Compensation: $98,140 - $125,130 (USD).
