Job Details

Opportunity: Join Guardant Health's growing Screening and Early Detection commercial team as a field-based Associate Account Executive, supporting go-to-market strategy for cancer screening technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and target healthcare providers for SHIELD use in CRC screening.
  • Meet sales goals and maximize promotional budgets.
  • Seek business expansion opportunities with primary care providers.
  • Develop and implement a business plan aligned with brand strategy.
  • Identify and partner with labs for phlebotomy draw agreements.
  • Analyze competitive landscape, share best practices, and communicate strategies.
  • Recommend strategic plans for gaining and retaining clients.
  • Manage promotional activities in assigned territory.
  • Work effectively with multiple departments.
  • Collaborate with sales team for successful goal attainment.
  • Represent company values.
  • Uphold company mission and values.
  • Comply with company Quality Management System.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years field-based sales experience (preferably healthcare).
  • Proven closing abilities and performance.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Consultative selling skills, overcoming objections.
  • Excellent market, customer, distribution, and product knowledge.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • High confidentiality standards.
  • Ability to develop and utilize cross-functional relationships.
  • Independent work ethic and project management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Veeva).
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with diagnostic product sales to primary care providers.
  • Product launch planning and execution experience.
  • Familiarity with primary care practice landscape.

Compensation: $96,000 - $105,000 (USD) base salary, plus benefits and potential incentives.
