Full-Time Associate Cloud Post Engineer

The primary purpose of the Associate Cloud Post Engineer is to support the Post Cloud infrastructure environment of NBCUniversal. The core responsibilities include managing and resolving requests from clients. Strong understanding of Avid and Adobe is required.

100% Remote Position with schedule flexibility including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements:

• Avid (Interplay, NEXIS, Media Central Cloud UX and Media Composer)
• Adobe Creative Cloud, Blackmagic Resolve, 3rd party plugins for all applications
• Video signals - SD, HD, UHD, HDR, SRT resolutions, frame rates
• Video Compression – XDcamHD50, MPEG2, MPEG4/AVC, XAVC, DNx, ProRes etc.
• Thorough understanding of Windows 11 and Windows Servers
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work effectively with others across geographical locations
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing requirements and schedules
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Desired Characteristics:

• File encoding using Telestream Vantage
• Archiving middleware using Telestream Diva
• Leostream and Teradici PCoIP support
• File system administration (NFS, CIFS, SMB)
• Network infrastructure understanding (switches, routers, firewalls, TCP/IP, DNS)
• File acceleration application using Signiant products

Additional Requirements:

• Fully Remote position: Works from a non-NBCUniversal worksite (employee’s residence).

Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000
