ACD, Copy leads content development, collaborating with internal teams and clients to create innovative healthcare and pharmaceutical marketing materials for healthcare professionals (HCPs) and patients. This role requires a strong understanding of client needs, industry trends, therapeutic areas, and products, ensuring high medical accuracy in all deliverables.
Job Duties:
- Partner with internal teams to transform complex data into engaging content for various audiences (HCPs, patients, internal clients).
- Develop original content for diverse digital and print media (brochures, emails, social media, advertisements, videos, websites).
- Collaborate with Creative personnel to define the creative vision and refine graphics/layouts.
- Engage clients to understand their brands, messaging, and creative vision, developing innovative ideas aligned with their marketing strategies.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of therapeutic areas, target audiences, and strategies for various products.
- Ensure high-quality, accurate materials through thorough referencing and annotation.
- Incorporate feedback from internal teams and clients while maintaining content integrity.
- Work with Editorial and Medical content leads to maintain up-to-date style guides and claims documents.
- Present work and rationale in internal and client reviews/meetings.
- Collaborate with Project Management to create and adhere to project timelines.
- Adhere to internal and client processes/procedures for workflow and deliverables.
- Maintain a proactive approach to client initiatives.
- Attend client meetings, including promotional reviews.
- Manage resourcing and workflow for copy development, working closely with Project Management and Account Services.
Internal and External Relationships:
- Foster collaboration between Copy Services and other departments to achieve innovative and efficient solutions.
- Enhance team culture, build consensus, and improve internal communication.
- Maintain effective verbal and written communication with colleagues, clients.
- Keep manager informed of departmental concerns and issues.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of pharmaceutical agency copywriting experience
- Experience writing for HCPs and consumers
- Strong understanding of marketing/advertising principles
- Demonstrated experience across diverse accounts/therapeutic areas
