Full-Time Associate Director, EWT Data Performance Manager & Offshore Lead

• As a EWT Data Performance Manager and Offshore Lead with 15+ years of experience in Data Management.
• 5+ years of experience in Azure cloud: architecting, solutioning, building Data strategies and data products.
• 5+ years of direct people management experience.
• Data-driven with data analysis and interpretation skills.
• Experienced in remote environments and collaboration across Geographies (UK, India, Mexico).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.

People Responsibilities:

• Accountable for the performance of all off-shore resources.
• Ensure compliance with performance management, security, training, risk, ethics, and diversity guidelines.
• Goal setting oversight to ensure high standards of SMART objectives
• Ensure adequate career guidance to support teams

Mandatory Skills:

• 10+ years of consulting or client service delivery experience on Azure
• Experience as an Azure Architect in designing architectural solutions.
• Experience setting up Azure environments.
• Own architecture, define standards, guidelines, and best practices.
• Track project status and provide directions to the team.
• Experience leading and mentoring teams.
• 5+ years in developing data ingestion, data processing, and analytical pipelines for big data and data warehouses like Snowflake.
• Extensive experience with Azure Native services and Hadoop.
• Hands-on experience implementing data ingestion, ETL, and data processing using Azure services: ADLS, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Synapse/DW, Azure SQL DB, Event Hub, IOT Hub, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Analysis Service, HDInsight, Databricks, Azure Data Catalog, Cosmo DB etc.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Azure and Big Data technologies such as Python, SQL, ADLS/Blob, Spark/SparkSQL, Databricks, Hive and streaming technologies such as Kafka, EventHub, NiFi etc.
• Well versed with Pyspark development on databricks.
• Well versed in DevSecOps and CI/CD deployments
• Cloud migration methodologies using Azure Data Factory, Data Migration Service, Event Hub, Kafka, etc.
• 3+ years of RDBMS experience
• Experience using Big Data File Formats and compression techniques
• Experience with Developer tools such as Azure DevOps, Visual Studio Team Server, Git, Jenkins, etc.
• Experience with private and public cloud architectures and migration considerations.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred skills:

• DevOps on Azure
• Experience developing and deploying ETL solutions on Azure
• Familiarity with metadata management technologies.
