Full-Time Associate Director - Scheduling

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Associate Director- Scheduling to join their team. This individual will need strong leadership skills and a proven track record of successful scheduling management on previous projects or programs.

Responsibilities:

• Work in an integrated planning, cost, and risk environment to optimize resource utilization and complete work plans within budget and timelines.
• Ensure adherence to established planning and scheduling methodologies in developing project schedules.
• Develop project milestone and progress tracking baselines.
• Assess subcontractor compliance with established scheduling methodologies.
• Contribute to the development of the Work Breakdown Structure to support performance measurement.
• Analyze schedule data to identify trends, issues, and areas needing attention, communicating findings to the Project Director and team.
• Communicate and collaborate with internal and external clients on the project schedule.
• Contribute to the coaching and mentoring of the planning team.
• Lead schedule reporting, including forecast updates and contingency management for specific work packages.
• Lead schedule updates, analysis, and reports in a timely manner.
• Ensure contractor schedule compliance with integrated schedules/milestones.
• Analyze resource requirements and availability impacts on the schedule and recommend recovery options.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related construction field.
• Graduate degree (preferred) in quantity surveying, cost management, construction management, or engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant scheduling experience in the construction industry.
• Experience in complex, fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments requiring proactive coordination for project/program success.
• Practical network planning structure and techniques, experience with Primavera Project Planner 6.0 or above, and Microsoft Project.
• Ability to assist with broader business initiatives, including responding to RFPs.
• Strong presentation, verbal, written, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel as required.
• On-site presence and requirements may change based on client needs.
