Full-Time Associate Platform Engineer

We’re seeking an experienced SRE engineer to join our Core Platform team. Our goal is to enhance software delivery performance and availability by fostering a DevOps culture and implementing best practices across the engineering department.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Scale continuous deployment practices across the engineering department, ensuring reliable and frequent software releases with minimal issues.
2. Enhance reusable service templates and associated CI/CD tooling.
3. Lead the maturation of cloud infrastructure and platform services.
4. Develop and maintain production observability practices. Define SLIs, manage and achieve SLOs.
5. Maintain internal developer-friendly tools (CLIs).
6. Operate and maintain platform-level services (CI/CD, infrastructure automation, monitoring).
7. Mentor product teams on operational ownership, providing guidance in blame-free incident analysis.
8. Participate in team support rotations.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong advocate for DevOps practices.
• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and networking (AWS, GCP, Terraform).
• Proficiency in CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, Jenkins), managing large pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with configuration automation (Terraform), Docker, and observability tooling (Honeycomb).
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently on self-contained projects.
• (Bonus) Experience in application development (coding) or operational roles involving coding. Proficiency in software development languages (Python preferred).
