As an Associate Site Reliability Engineer, you'll design, build, and maintain production services, collaborating with development teams on diverse technology stacks.
Your responsibilities include driving release management and monitoring solutions to ensure SLAs are met. You will:
- Be responsible for a production cloud service.
- Optimize cloud services' cost/capacity ratios.
- Monitor, scale, implement, and validate disaster recovery and business continuity scenarios.
- Respond to external support requests related to cloud architecture.
- Maintain, document, and support public IPs of the cloud service.
- Develop effective cloud infrastructure, enforce architectural principles, and ensure security best practices.
- Develop infrastructure as code on Azure using best practices.
- Ensure regional redundancy of web applications within budget.
- Support Gimmal's adherence to operational compliance requirements.
- Work with development teams to design, create, and implement infrastructure for new products and features.
- Aid in reviewing design specifications.
- (When needed) Work nights or weekends for deployments and maintenance.
