We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic Front-End Associate Software Engineer for our agile Supply Chain Engineering team. This team builds systems and services for a better customer experience, efficient supply chain, and StockX Verification.
What you'll do
- Work with product owners, designers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and make technical recommendations.
- Independently build, deploy, and monitor front-end solutions.
- Integrate front-end solutions with back-end services.
- Collaborate with quality engineers for testing and validation.
- Stay updated on front-end best practices, including performance optimization, internationalization, and localization.
- Apply security, scalability, and reliability considerations.
- Propose and adopt best engineering practices, and guide development standards.
- Foster a growth mindset culture.
- Contribute to and follow team processes for better sprint outcomes.
- Consider technology alternatives and impact on affected systems.
- Ensure service uptime by monitoring, debugging, and responding urgently.
- Communicate with vendors for integration clarity.
- Provide timely communication to stakeholders and users for issue resolution.
About you
- 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong Javascript (ES6, Typescript, React, HTML, CSS) experience in a modern browser environment.
- Strong React experience and understanding of building complex user interfaces.
- Experience with state management (Zustand, Redux, Context).
- Understanding of web development best practices (performance, localization).
- Knowledge of mobile-first responsive design.
- AWS or equivalent cloud provider experience.
- Experience integrating with web service backends (REST, GraphQL).
- Understanding of service-oriented and microservice architectures.
- Hands-on experience with testing strategies, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
Nice to have skills
- 24/7 high-availability production environment experience.
- Datadog (APM, RUM, metrics) or equivalent experience.
- Experience with back-end languages (Typescript, Javascript, Node.js) or equivalent.
- Experience with data storage (relational & non-relational, Postgres, Redis, DynamoDB).
- Exposure to CI/CD frameworks (Github, K8s, Harness, LaunchDarkly).
Compensation
Base salary range: $80,000 to $100,000 plus benefits, equity and discretionary bonuses. Compensation depends on geography.
