AECOM seeks an experienced Business and Sales Executive for a key Client Account Management (CAM) role in our Las Vegas office.
Job Responsibilities:
- Establishes and maintains strong professional relationships with airport accounts.
- Acts as a business partner for the customer's executive management team.
- Builds growth and engagement plans (3+ years) using Salesforce.
- Provides business rationale and risk assessment for investments in customer accounts.
- Develops compelling business cases highlighting AECOM solutions.
- Positions AECOM capabilities to customer objectives.
- Leverages relationships to generate new business with airlines.
- Identifies and cultivates relationships with AECOM executives across business lines.
- Builds, monitors, and orchestrates sales pipelines for airline portfolio.
- Plans, manages, and supervises proposal efforts.
- Keeps abreast of industry challenges and focuses on direct sales activities.
- Coordinates all AECOM activities for the account (sales, marketing, executive forums, etc.).
- Engages the Executive Sponsor to build strategic relationships.
- Motivates and supports sales teams.
- Mentors junior staff in business development and proposal development.
- Performs aviation-related civil design, planning, construction support, and client management services.
- Plans, directs, and monitors projects (small and large).
- Mentors and develops staff, encouraging teamwork and initiative.
- Guides project teams on technical issues.
- Builds and maintains positive client relationships.
- Involved in marketing/business development (strategy, proposals, contracts, execution).
- Coordinates staffing and workload, meeting schedules and budgets.
- Controls project cost, scope, schedule, and quality.
- Implements project QA/QC and works with relevant departments.
- Coordinates with clients, funding agencies, FAA, and local permit agencies.
Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS in Engineering, Planning, Architecture, or related field.
- 12+ years key account management experience or equivalent.
- 4+ years leadership experience.
- 10+ years business management experience in aviation.
- Experience leading teams in aviation.
- 2+ years working knowledge of major airport infrastructure programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 15+ years business management experience in airport sector.
- Well-regarded in the aviation industry.
- Highly collaborative environment experience.
- Professional services sales experience.
- In-depth knowledge of consultative selling.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Expert negotiation skills.
- Knowledge and willingness to learn AECOM's portfolio.
- Salesforce experience (CRM).
