AECOM is seeking a AVP, T&D Department Manager, to lead and grow a newly established business line within AECOM Energy. The AVP, T&D Department Manager has the opportunity to provide overall leadership, vision, and managerial direction to establish AECOM’s position within the National T&D Market. The AVP, T&D Department Manager will own the accountability for all project management, engineering and business development within the USA T&D market.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Business Development:
- Identifying and pursuing T&D opportunities
- Establishing AECOM’s position in the T&D Market
- Overseeing the business development of T&D Markets
- Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Overseeing T&D work with new and existing clients
- Managing the pursuit process (go/no-go decisions, win strategies, proposals, pricing, contracts, risk reviews)
- Monitoring scope, schedules and budgets
- Project Management Leadership:
- Implementing effective project management methods
- Identifying and implementing new management practices
- Providing senior-level technical advice
- Managing profitability and financial performance
- Identifying and mitigating risks
- Providing leadership to the project management team
- Conducting project reviews
- Establishing policies and procedures for project success
- Coordinating with the T&D team for EPC and Program Management
- Developing innovative tools and workflows
- Recruitment and Staff Management:
- Recruiting and retaining top T&D staff
- Developing project managers
- Maintaining workload forecast and skillsets
- Creating career paths and developmental plans
