ChabezTech is seeking an Azure Databricks DevOps Lead for a full-time, remote role on an internal project.
About the Role
Leadership position to design, architect, and optimize our Azure-based Data Lakehouse platform. Collaborate with internal teams to build scalable, secure, and cost-efficient data solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Architect and optimize Databricks Pipelines for large-scale data processing
- Manage Azure infrastructure components (Databricks, AKS/ACI, Storage, Networking)
- Implement monitoring & observability frameworks with Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana
- Enable microservices-based architecture for modular data solutions
- Drive automation, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and CI/CD using Terraform, ARM, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps
What We’re Looking For
- 9+ years in Data & Analytics
- 5+ years of DevOps experience with Azure & Databricks
- Strong expertise in Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and Azure Services
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and scripting (Python, Bash)
- Familiarity with Data Governance, Security, and Cost Optimization
Bonus Skills
- Knowledge of Event-driven architectures (Kafka, Event Grid)
- Understanding of Data Mesh principles
