Full-Time Azure DevOps Architect

Redapt seeks a highly experienced DevOps Architect focused on Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for cloud development and DevOps.

This role includes customer-facing consulting, leading teams in cloud solution development and delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and solution development for cloud-based DevOps solutions.
• Partner with project teams, architects, specialists, and technical resources.
• Lead and deliver projects remotely (hands-on), driving cloud migrations/adoptions from inception to production.
• Deliver technical presentations and create technical deliverables.
• Mentor and provide technical oversight to implementation teams.
• Offer cloud and code thought leadership via publications and speaking engagements (as needed).
• Support Modern Data Center Practice/DevOps Team growth and development.

Professional Qualifications:

• Required: Extensive experience with Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes/AKS, Golang or Python, CI/CD, Jenkins-like automation tools.
• Preferred: Experience with Spinnaker or TeamCity.

General Knowledge (Preferred): Security, authentication, MFA, authorization, B2C, data privacy, IAM, cryptography, key management, access controls, and security protocols.

Education and Experience:

• 3-5+ years overall industry experience
• 2+ years experience with cloud architecture projects and deployments
• 2+ years experience with cloud solutions, platforms, and technologies
• 1+ year experience across the business development lifecycle (Pre-Sales, Solution Architecture, Pricing, Proposal Development)
• 1+ year experience with Kubernetes in production
• Mid-level to Expert level experience with Terraform in cloud environments
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Travel: 25% or more per month.

Compensation: $140,000 - $190,000 annually + bonuses + benefits.
