Full-Time Azure DevOps Engineer

You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience as DevOps Engineer using Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Cloud, Kubernetes.
• Focus on support and environment setup (Yaml/Jenkins/Docker/Terraform/Ansible).
• Knowledge in Deployment of applications using containers is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Azure services, Virtual Machine in Azure, Virtual Network Configuration.
• Knowledge in design patterns such as: Iaas, Paas and Saas.
• Knowledge in CI/CD (Azure DevOps Services, Jenkins, Azure Pipelines or GitHub Actions).
• IP’s and Mask knowledge.
• Cloud application monitoring, logging and infrastructure maintenance.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Scrum.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Thinking.
• English proficiency is a requirement, as you will be working directly with US-based clients.
• Microsoft Azure Certification is a plus.

You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:

• Automation of tasks related to provisioning resources on Azure. 
• Enablement and provisioning of resources on Azure. 
• Configuration of Virtual Networks and Firewall rules. 
• Consume REST API’s. 
• Troubleshooting of problems related to configuration of CI/CD. 
• Optimize cost of resources with the implementation of new efficient solutions. 
• Experience with agile development processes to meet requirements and follow through with the implementation. 
• Plan and conduct game days to test and enhance the code and diagrams 
• Propose the best practice approaches in terms of architecture design, security, naming conventions, governance, etc 
• Support CI/CD lifecycle 
• Take ownership of the Azure environment assigned
