Full-Time Back End Engineer I

Key Responsibilities:

• API and Feature Development: Build and maintain backend APIs using Node.js and JavaScript. Develop full stack features with JavaScript and web components.
• Code Quality and Deployment: Participate in code reviews. Contribute to QA processes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Internal Tools and IT Support: Help develop and maintain internal tools. Support light IT tasks, such as Google Workspace administration.
• Learning and Growth: Engage in mentorship. Explore modern backend and AI-driven architectures.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 1+ years of professional experience in backend or full stack development.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js, JavaScript.
• Familiarity with SQL databases, with a preference for Postgres.
• Working knowledge of Git, monorepo structures, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to AI technologies.
• Experience in the creator economy, influencer marketing, or media technology industries.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform services and/or Cloudflare developer services.
• Prior contributions to internal tools or light IT tasks.
